Terms of Service

Apna Tiffin Service is the trading name of Apna Tiffin Services, proprietor Gourav Kushwaha, a home kitchen in Hanumant Puram 2nd, Faizullaganj, Lucknow. We cook home-style meals in a single kitchen and deliver them ourselves; we are not a marketplace and we do not resell food cooked by others.

• Single tiffins (breakfast, lunch, dinner) ordered for a specific day.
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly tiffin subscriptions with a set number of tiffins.
• Party, event and bulk catering orders, quoted individually and confirmed in writing.

Our kitchen is purely vegetarian. We do not cook, store or handle meat, fish or eggs at any point. Menus are seasonal and a dish may be substituted with a comparable one when an ingredient is unavailable.

• To cancel or skip a day’s tiffin, tell us before 10:00 AM that day. After 10:00 AM the food has been cooked and packed and that tiffin is counted as delivered.
• Skipped days credit your tiffin balance and extend the end date of your cycle. You do not lose the tiffin.
• You can pause a subscription at any time. There is no lock-in period and no cancellation charge.
• Same-day new orders are subject to kitchen capacity.

Prices shown on the site are in Indian Rupees and include the cost of the meal. Delivery beyond our free radius is shown as a separate line before you confirm. Subscription prices are locked for the duration of the cycle you have paid for.

We currently accept UPI, and cash on delivery where offered. Card and online gateway payments are being enabled. We do not store card details.

Delivery is limited to our service radius around the kitchen and happens in fixed windows described in our delivery policy. Someone must be reachable on the phone number given with the order. If a delivery cannot be handed over after a reasonable attempt, that tiffin is treated as delivered.

We cook to FSSAI hygiene standards under FSSAI registration no. 22726739001176. Meals are cooked fresh and are intended to be eaten within four hours of delivery. Our kitchen uses common ingredients including milk products, wheat, peanuts, mustard and soy, so we cannot guarantee that a meal is free of any specific allergen. Tell us about allergies and medical dietary needs in writing before subscribing.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the name, phone number and address you give us, and for keeping your login credentials private. We may refuse or end service in cases of abuse of our delivery staff, repeated non-payment, or fraudulent orders.

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, such as weather, strikes, civic restrictions or transport failures. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of India and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
